Missing person Ryan Van Haastert

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating 42-year-old Ryan Van Haastert who left his south Nanaimo home on September 3rd and has not been heard from since. Van Haastert is struggling with some personal issues which have his friends and family worried for his safety and well-being.

On the same day as he was reported missing, Van Haastert was spotted in the Cedar area, driving his grey 2017 Toyota Corolla with BC plate # GF140W, however, he was not located by investigators.

Van Haastert is a Caucasian male who stands 6 ft. 2, weighs 190 pounds and the picture of him and the vehicle are recent. If anyone sees Ryan Van Haastert or knows of his whereabouts, call 911 immediately or the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
