The Smithers RCMP focused enforcement on property crime within the town. As a result of a theft investigation a search warrant was obtained for a residence on Alfred Avenue.
On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, police executed the search warrant and recovered stolen property, firearms and illicit drugs.
We continue our enforcement on property crime offences and illicit drug trafficking with resources targeting those that are causing the most harm in our community
said S/Sgt Mark Smaill, NCO i/c Smithers RCMP.
The investigation is ongoing and charges are expected. More information may be release as it becomes available. Anyone with any information on this or any other criminal activity within the town is asked to call the Smithers RCMP at (250) 847-3233.
