Witnesses sought after two vehicle collision in parking lot

Police are seeking witnesses to an incident where two pickup trucks were involved an accident in the Walmart parking lot on the afternoon July 2, 2024.
On July 2, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Dawson Creek RCMP received a report of a collision that involved a black truck and an orange truck in the Walmart parking lot situated in the 600 block on Highway 2.
The two vehicles then departed the parking lot and were seen driving throughout town, before heading east on Highway 2 at a high rate of speed.
Despite the sparse details, police are looking for anyone who may have dashcam footage or surveillance footage of the two vehicles either in the Walmart parking lot, or at any time driving through town.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed this event or has any information about it to please contact the Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700.
