On December 14, 2023 Oceanside RCMP officers located and recovered two Sea-Doos and a trailer which were stolen in Qualicum Bay on September 14, 2023. The theft was the subject of a September 15, 2023 media release issued by the Oceanside RCMP. The items were recovered, undamaged, from a rural property in the Whiskey Creek area.
The stolen Sea-Doos and trailer have been returned to their rightful owner who was excited to have them back,
says Sergeant Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP. No arrests were made and no charges have been laid, however the investigation is ongoing.
Oceanside RCMP received many tips regarding the theft and thank the public for information provided to assist with the investigation.
