On July 28, 2023 Ashcroft RCMP, with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant on a residence in Ashcroft, BC. The highway was closed temporarily while the police made entry into the residence to ensure the public’s safety.
Ashcroft RCMP arrested 5 individuals who are known to police to be involved in drugs and property crime. Firearms and drugs were located and seized from inside the residence. The suspects have been released from custody with charges pending.
