One person injured in single vehicle collision

On Thursday, September 1 2022 at 3:55 am, the Kitimat RCMP received a report of a collision on Haisla Blvd and Tsimshian Blvd. A single vehicle traveling westbound on Haisla Blvd is believed to have crossed the median and ended up on the westbound shoulder. Two light standards were knocked down as a result of the collision.

The driver was located near the scene and was transported to the hospital. A criminal impaired driving investigation is being conducted by the Kitimat RCMP.

A collision analyst was called to the scene which remained behind police tape Thursday morning.
