1. 2022-3202 - Graffiti to School Property
On May 30, 2022, Squamish RCMP received a report of graffiti to school property at a local elementary school. The school, police, and families involved are following up under the School Act to resolve this ongoing matter and prevent future similar incidents from happening.

2. 2022-3055 – Theft from Auto and Fraud
On May 24, 2022, an out of town resident parked and left their car near Porteau Cove. Unknown thieves smashed a window to gain entry and steal personal items including an HP Envy laptop, other electronics, a wallet, clothing, three rings, and a Starbucks card that was subsequently used locally. This file remains open for further investigation.

3. 2022-3050 et al – Stolen Vehicle
On May 24, 2022, Squamish RCMP received a number of calls about an erratic driver in a truck on Highway 99 near Watts Point. Determining the truck was stolen, local members and other assisting units including Police Dog Service, Air 1, and West Vancouver Police, located and arrested two males for possession of stolen property after they fled the truck on foot. The two males were also in possession of a stolen bike out of Whistler. Police released the males with future court dates.
