On Sunday evening, Ashcroft RCMP responded to a fire at an auto wrecking yard in the 16 Mile area.
On March 20th, 2022, Ashcroft RCMP responded to a reported fire at a business in the 16 Mile area, north of Cache Creek. The main residence on the property wasn’t damaged, but a workshop and some surrounding property were fully engulfed. Multiple members of the public were treated for smoke inhalation at scene, but no injuries beyond that were reported.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
