Ashcroft RCMP is looking to recruit a few more detention guards for their detachment and is inviting all interested members of the community to apply.

Ashcroft Detachment currently has an outstanding team of detention guards that provide a vital service to the area. The RCMP detachment is now looking to further enhance the team with some new staff members who are interested in learning and managing cell operations. Recruitment for the open positions is handled through the Commissionaires BC.

The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, want to get engaged with their community, and are willing to obtain Occupational First Aid certification. If this opportunity interests you, the full details of the position, as well as the application, can be found on the Commissionaires BC website.

Detention guards are a vital component of our team in Ashcroft who help to ensure the smooth running of the detachment, said Corporal Cory Lepine, Detachment Commander. We are now expanding that team and are looking forward to bringing in members of the community to enhance our operations.

Anyone who is interested in learning more about the open positions or who wants to apply can do so via the Commissionaires BC website.
