On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, ALERT (Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams) put out a media release detailing arrests made as a result of an extensive multi-jurisdictional drug investigation.
The Fort St John RCMP actively supported the overall investigation during the summer of 2021. Fort St John RCMP frontline police officers, the Serious Crimes plain clothes unit and the North District Emergency Response Team (ERT) engaged and participated with all local investigations contributing to the significant and successful outcomes.
Cooperation between various police agencies and units is essential to the success of an investigation of this magnitude,
said Constable Chad NEUSTAETER, Media Relations Officer for the Fort St John RMCP. It may be cliché but this is a huge amount of drugs and guns that could hurt our public that is off our streets.
If you are aware of, or suspect drug activity in your neighbourhood, don’t hesitate to let the police know. It might be just the type of information that sparks an investigation which has far reaching results.
Anyone wanting to contact the Fort St John RCMP are encouraged to do so at (250) 787-8100. Should you wish to remain anonymous, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online at www.crimestoppersnebc.ca.
