On September 22, 2021, Fort St John RCMP requested the assistance of the public in locating a 28-year-old man wanted on warrants for Forcible Entry, Assault and four counts of Breach of Release Order.

On October 2, 2021, in the mid-afternoon, Fort St John RCMP observed the man enter a Fort St John residence.  A warrant was written for RCMP to enter the residence and later that day the man was located hiding in the basement.  The man resisted arrest but was taken into custody with the assistance of the Peace/Liard Police Dog Services unit.

The man was assessed at the hospital prior to being released back into RCMP custody.

The man was remanded into custody until October 18, 2021 for his next court appearance.
