The Fort St John RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in investigating a dangerous incident that occurred on July 5, 2021, at approximately 5:00pm near the 248 Rd and 271 Rd, Charlie Lake, BC.

A large metallic object, possibly a fan or lawn mower blade, pierced the windshield of a car travelling south on 271 Rd, injuring the driver.

The driver believes the blade may have fallen off a green semi truck travelling in the opposite (north) direction.

The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and urge anyone with information about this incident to contact the Fort St John RCMP at (250) 787-8100 or Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-8477.
