Criminal charges upgraded in stabbing attack following assessment by the Crown

Criminal charges in relation to a double stabbing back in February 2021 have been upgraded following a review of the police investigative findings carried out by the BC Prosecution Service.

29-year-old Sasha Margaret Prokaski is presently facing the following five criminal charges which include two counts of attempt to commit murder, two counts of uttering threats and one count of break and enter.

Prokaski’s next court appearance is scheduled by video for Wednesday April 7, 2021 in Castlegar.
