RCMP Assist Santa Claus in spreading Christmas Cheer

On Saturday December 7th, 2024 an unusual call to the Outer Gulf Islands RCMP was received. None other then Santa Claus was on the line explaining to police that his sled was currently in the shop preparing for Christmas and he needed a ride. The Outer Gulf Islands RCMP did not hesitate to make sure Santa made it to the annual Pender Island Lions Club Santa visit at Hope bay on time.

Trading in his sleigh and reindeer for Patrol Vessel Blackfish, Santa arrived just in the nick of time for the festivities.  Santa waltzed down the dock and greeted the excited attendees, regardless of who was on the naughty or nice list. His only complaint was that the onboard milk and cookies were not up to his standard.  

Nonetheless, everyone was able to share the holiday spirit with this annual Pender Island tradition.
