The Hero’s Run is a one of a kind run-with-your-dog fundraiser event with proceeds going toward supporting retired service dogs across Canada.

The 2024 Heroes Run will honour Police Service Dog Bingo, of the Toronto Police Service. On July 25, 2023, Bingo and his handler were tasking with helping to search for a suspect wanted for homicide. Bingo located the suspect however was tragically shot and killed during the interaction. Bingo's work ethic and sacrifice saved the lives of the officers on scene that day.

My first police dog, Dirks Regimental #936, has benefited from this program and it literally extended his life in retirement, said Corporal Dan Cloutier, Fort St John Police Dog Service Unit. Needless to say, I'm a big supporter of this cause. My wife and I have been involved with Ned's Wish for a few years now. Read Dirks Story

Pricing this year is set at $90.00 which includes a swag bag for the in-person and virtual runs. For those not interested in a swag bag, registration is only $50.00.

The Fort St John RCMP wish to encourage everyone to get out and have a great October 5th by registering for the event and then running or walking with your pup in support of retired K-9’s.
