The vehicle was headed northbound on Highway 97 and it appears the driver misjudged the exit to Jackfish Frontage
, said Corporal Shawn Ingham, Watch Commander for the Fort St John RCMP. We believe speed was a factor but are trying to understand the totality of the circumstances involved in this collision.
The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking that any drivers in the area who may have dashcam video or observed anything suspicious in the area between 6:20am and 6:50am to please contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
