Investigation into fatal pedestrian crash continues

On Sunday, August 11 2024, Fort Nelson RCMP and BC Highway Patrol responded to a pedestrian involved crash on Alaska Highway near Dawson Way, Fort Nelson BC. Sadly, the pedestrian was deceased at the scene. Original Release 2024-08-14.

BCHP investigators are looking to locate anyone who may have travelling to or from Fort Nelson between the hours of 2:00 a.m and 4:00 a.m on Sunday, August 11, 2024 that have not yet spoken with police.

If anyone witnessed this collision or has any dash cam footage from travelling either north or southbound please contact the Fort Nelson BC Highway Patrol office at 250-774-3883.
