Search warrant yields drugs, weapons, cash and more

The Prince Rupert RCMP has continued its fight against the illicit drug trade in the city and executed an additional warrant where drugs, weapons, cash and more was seized.
On July 25th, 2024 at approximately 4:00 p.m. investigators executed a warrant on a house in the 400 block of Dunsmuir St. the lone occupant, 36-year-old Cody Kaleb Fenton, was arrested and has been charged with the following:
Robbery (contrary to Section 344[1][b] of the Criminal Code);
Assault (contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code);
Assault with a Weapon (contrary to Section 267[a] of the Criminal Code); and
Two counts of Possession Contrary to Order (contrary to Section 117.01(1) of the Criminal Code).
Significant quantities of suspected cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and fentanyl were seized during the execution of the search warrant, along with weapons, ammunition, and cash. The investigation is ongoing.
This event represents the latest in a series of drug-related search warrant executions by the Prince Rupert RCMP in recent weeks. The Prince Rupert RCMP wishes to make it abundantly clear to those engaging in the drug trade that enforcement will continue.
