Additional search warrant executed

For the third time in the past three months and the second time in just over a week, the Prince Rupert RCMP executed a search warrant at 230 3rd Ave W.

On July 12th, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. police executed a warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act at the above mentioned address. Investigators found illicit drugs and one woman with an unendorsed warrant for failing to comply with a Conditional Sentence Order. 

The drugs were seized and the woman will be held to be seen before a judge. 

"Our goal remains the same, get illicit drugs off the streets of Prince Rupert," Media Relations Officer Constable Brody Hemrich said, "the message is also clear, if you participate in the illicit drug trade you will be arrested and charged."

"We want to remind citizens to continue to report suspected criminal activities that are ongoing in their community as we take those reports very seriously." Cst. Hemrich also added.
