Sgt. Rob Brennan has served with in various communities, including Prince George, Port Hardy, Haida Gwaii, and the Comox Valley. His service has predominantly placed him on the front lines, where he worked alongside remarkable individuals, facing the challenges and demands of policing.
Policing is an extremely rewarding career; however, the reality that cannot be ignored is that it comes with regular exposure to trauma, horrific scenes, and dangerous situations.
Said Sgt. Rob Brennan, Wounded Warriors Runner and member of the Comox Valley RCMP. Over the course of my career, I have observed many members who have suffered immensely as a result of the mental toll this takes on ones mind. I have a passion and I am driven to empower others to open up about their struggles, seek assistance, and overcome challenges.
As part of the collective effort to support Canada's veterans, first responders, and their families, the Wounded Warrior Run embodies the mission of helping them feel safe, supported, and understood.
