
Police investigate a suspicious occurrence

On Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 11:30 am, Mackenzie RCMP were notified of a suspicious occurrence that had just taken place.
A local student was walking along Stuart Drive when a black Ford F-150 drove by. The vehicle passed by and then turned around and pulled up alongside the young lady.
The driver, a man who appeared to be in his mid-thirties, he was looking for an address but could not
find it and asked for help. The driver asked if she wanted a ride, she refused and the suspect became more insistent and told her to get in the truck. The vehicle left without any further interaction.
The suspect has been described as:
- Caucasian male
- Mid-thirties
- Clean shaven
- Wearing a salmon coloured hoodie, black sunglasses and grey baseball cap
The suspect vehicle has been described as:
- Black Ford F-150
- Brown leather seats
The suspect has not been identified and police look to the public for any information to help further the investigation.
