Charges laid in suspicious death

 Charges have now been laid in a suspicious death investigation from August 2021 in 100 Mile House, BC.

On August 6, 2021, RCMP members were called to a residence near Sheridan Lake for a sudden death of a 69-year-old man. The BC RCMP North District Major Crime Unit was contacted and had taken conduct of the investigation

Merrilee Hudson, 66, of Sheridan Lake, has been charged with Manslaughter, and appeared at the 100 Mile House Law Courts on January 27, 2023.

Now that this matter is before the courts and an individual has been charged, police will not be providing any additional information said Sergeant Chris Manseau, media relations officer for the BC RCMP.
