2022-7682/2022-7684 – Traffic enforcement
On December 12, 2022, members did traffic enforcement patrols in the downtown area, and saw a woman get out of her car and turn around once she saw them. When police spoke with her, she provided a false name, as she was prohibited from driving. Police served the woman driving documents and towed her car. In a second unrelated instance, members located a driver who was prohibited from driving but not yet served notice. Members issued this driver associated paperwork and a temporary driver licence so they could get their car home.

If the money belongs to you and you can identify the amount and related descriptors, contact the detachment. Police will hold the money for 90 days and if not claimed by the rightful owner, it will be turned over the kind citizen.
