Police investigating B&E at Vernon business

The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP is conducting an investigation into a break and enter that occurred at a Vernon business early Wednesday morning.

On November 9th, 2022, shortly after 4 a.m., the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP received a report of a break and enter, and theft at a business in the 3500-block of 27th Street in Vernon. The break in is believed to have occurred sometime between 1 and 2 am when a person forced their way into the business and stole a number of items from inside. Frontline officers secured the scene and the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP’s Forensic Identification Section is assisting with a detailed examination and the collection of any physical evidence to support the investigation.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area between midnight and 2 a.m., or who has information about the break and enter to contact the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at (250) 545-7171.
