
Campbell River RCMP execute Drug Search Warrant

On November 4, 2022 the Campbell River RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances act at a residence on Holm Road in Campbell River, BC.
During the execution of the search warrant, a 20-year old Campbell River man was arrested for Trafficking a Controlled Substance.
Officers seized a substance consistent with being cocaine, along with a prohibited weapon. As part of the investigation the substance is to be tested by Health Canada to confirm the officer’s suspicions. Officers also seized two vehicles as offence related property.
The search warrant was culmination of many hours of investigation and work put in by members of the local detachment’s Street Crime’s Unit with the assistance of the Major Crime Unit

The man has since been released from police custody and the investigation continues. A future court date is anticipated, but charge recommendations have not yet been forwarded to the BC Prosecution service for review.
