Man held in custody following multiple violent incidents

On October 7, Creston RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter where a man was alleged to have broken into a residence, and attacked two people with bear spray. The man had conditions to have no contact with one of the victims. The man evaded police following this incident.
On October 11, Clark Hills was eventually located on the 900-block of Cook Street in Creston and arrested for numerous offenses. Mr. Hills is now facing charges of:
- Assault with a weapon x 2
- Breach of release order x 2
- Mischief
- Break and enter
Mr. Hills was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on October 27, 2022.
