Fort St John RCMP request assistance from the public for a recent break and enter

The Fort St John RCMP is requesting the assistance of the public with a Break, Enter and Theft file which occurred overnight between September 20 to September 21.
In the early morning hours of September 21st, 2022, the Fort St John RCMP responded to an insecure premise at Penny’s Coins Cards and Collectibles on 100th Ave, in Fort St John.
Frontline police officers arrived on scene and learned that the business had been broken into with access being gained through the back door. Inside of the business several display cases had been smashed and numerous items were taken which most notably include the following:
- Hockey cards,
- Coin sets,
- Collectible Maple Leaves,
- Collectible Canadian currency in $1, $2, $5, and $10 denominations,
- Mammoth tusk.
The Fort St John RCMP continues to investigate and is asking anyone who may have additional information about this incident, to please contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
