Media Event: Cops for Kids Ride Send-Off

Kelowna – On behalf of the Cops for Kids Ride Captain, Julio Krenz the media are invited to attend the annual Cops for Kids Ride Send-Off. Dignitaries, RCMP leadership and the Cops for Kids cycling team will be in attendance to send-off the team for the 1000 km cycle throughout south eastern BC September 9-18, 2022. This charitable event is in its’ 22nd year and has raised millions of dollars for deserving children in the region.

The Cops for Kids Ride will be depart the Sandman Hotel at approximately 8:00am after a few short speeches. Riders and special guests will be available for interviews and photos from 7:00am-7:30am only, at the Sandman Hotel Kelowna. Any media that are unable to attend from 7:00-7:30am may catch the team at their first stop downtown Peachland at 9:30am.
