2022-800234 Theft from Vehicle
On September 3, 2022, sometime overnight, unknown thieves stole a Catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia parked in the 40700 block of Tantalus Rd.
2022-5640 – Immediate Roadside Prohibition
On September 1, 2022, local members were doing a road check for driver sobriety. A driver stopped at the check and showed physical signs of impairment that included blood shot eyes, slurred speech, and slow movements. Members had the driver provide breath samples that determined the driver was not legally allowed to drive given the amount of liquor he’d consumed. Under the Motor Vehicle Act, police impounded the car and issued the driver an immediate roadside prohibition for 90 days.2022-
5645 et al – Thefts from Vehicles
Between August 31 and September 5, 2022, 13 thefts from autos occurred. In majority of reports, car doors were insecure. Common items thieves stole include wallets, sunglasses, keys, access cards, iPhone. Thieves are targeting various neighborhoods at typically during the night. Police encourage people to report directly or through online crime reporting
