RCMP continue investigation into the death of Taig Savage

It was Just before 6 a.m. on Sunday September 5, 2021, when frontline officers from the Penticton RCMP were called to assist BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) with a report of an unresponsive person down, at a field located in the 100-block of Eckhart Avenue. Taig Savage was located deceased as the result of homicide.

This September 5th marks the one-year anniversary of Taig’s murder. While no arrests have been made to date, a fulsome investigation into this matter continues including detailed forensic & technological investigation of evidence that has been gathered.

Penticton and area community support has been significant with continued additional avenues of investigation being examined and followed up on.
