Police investigate an assault following a report of road rage

On Monday, August 15, 2022 at approximately 5:30 pm an alleged road rage incident resulted in one individual being assaulted. An officer of the Kitimat RCMP, on patrol, happened upon the incident that occurred near the intersection of Kuldo Blvd and Haisla Blvd in Kitimat.
The RCMP are looking to speak to anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed this altercation.It is believed that one person may have stopped and assisted, however their identity is not known.
Anyone who saw the incident, has dash cam footage or were in the area between 5 :15 pm – 5:30 pm, is asked to contact the Kitimat RCMP at 250-632-7111. Should you wish to remain anonymous, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
