Police presence at local motel

Merritt RCMP are currently on scene at a local motel where it has been reported that multiple people have been seriously injured.

This investigation is unfolding and information is being confirmed. Currently there are two people in custody and police believe this to be targeted. At this time there does not appear to be any further risk to the public.
