1. 2022–4244, 2022-4246 – Stolen boat
On July 14, 2022 Squamish RCMP received a report from an owner of a white and blue zodiac boat who had a visual of the boat being stolen from a vehicle that it was attached to. The owner followed the stolen boat attached to an F-150 with red FORD lettering on the truck bed door. The suspect vehicle with the stolen boat was last seen travelling northbound in the southbound lane in Highway 99. The suspect vehicle was later located abandoned near Furry Creek, later identified as a stolen vehicle out of Vancouver. The boat was later located behind Howe Sound Secondary School, identified as stolen from the Squamish Facebook page.

2. 2022-4271 – Break and Enter/Theft
On July 15, 2022 Squamish RCMP received a report from a resident of Brunswick Beach Rd in Lions Bay who witnessed a person carrying an outboard boat motor walking along the beach in front of their residence. The resident confronted the person with the motor to an RV parked in the neighbour’s yard. Squamish RCMP attended and there located inside the RV were further stolen items from the resident’s house. All items were returned. The suspects left in the RV, causing damage to the neighbour’s fence. A search in Lions Bay for the RV was unsuccessful.
