Thieves smash truck window in early morning theft from vehicle

On July 7, 2022, at 5:27 am, the Fort St John RCMP received a report of a suspect breaking into a City of Fort St John vehicle, located at the Fort St John Fire Department in the area of 93rd Avenue at 93rd Street.

Police attended and found that two suspects had smashed out the rear driver’s side window and stole a fire retardant uniform from inside the vehicle.

Suspects fled on foot from the area.

The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and ask that anyone with additional information about this incident, including possible dash cam video of the area at the time, to please contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
