Fort St John RCMP investigate theft of boat

The Fort St John RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect vehicle and possible owner.
On June 5th, 2022 the Fort St John RCMP received a report for a theft of boat and trailer from the area of 10426 Clairmont Frontage, Fort St John, BC which occurred at approximately 4:15am that same morning.
Through investigation police were able to determine a white pickup was involved in the theft and is described as:

- White quad cab pickup truck with a sunroof,
- Black push bumper and,
- Silver rims.
The boat stolen is a 20 ft Shuman Vortex river boat and is described as:

- enclosed with 6.2 liter DI motor,
- hull number BC3399361
- checkered paint pattern
- loaded on a white 2004 U-built dual axle trailer bearing BC licence plate UTT19N
The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and ask that anyone with additional information about this incident, including possible dash cam video of the area at the time, to please contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
