1. 2022-2930 – Theft From Auto
On May 19, 2022, Squamish RCMP received a report of tools stolen from a vehicle on the 2000 block of Mamquam Rd. There was a male and a female observed early in the morning around 1:30 a.m scoping out the area. The male and female were confronted and stated they lived in the area, which was said not to be true from neighborhood residents.

2. 2022-2948 – Theft From Auto
On May 20, 2022, Squamish RCMP received a report of another vehicle that was broken into with tools and other personal items stolen. A few items listed are: Black Maui Jim sunglasses, brown Revo sunglasses, red Xpex sunglasses, keys on a blue lanyard and a single key on a red rope lanyard, Swiss army multi-tool with name engraved on it, a BaoFeng VHF radio, and a yellow multi-tip screwdriver.

3. 2022–3043 – Excessive Speed
On May 23, 2022, Squamish RCMP received a report of a vehicle travelling southbound on Highway 99 driving extremely slow and thought the driver to be impaired. A Squamish member observed the vehicle and driver’s behaviour. The vehicle went from driving slow to travelling 115 km/ hr in a 70 km/hr zone. The member conducted a road side stop, in which the driver did not have any valid licence. There were no signs of impairment. The driver was issued tickets and the vehicle towed. The driver and occupants of the vehicle took a taxi back to Surrey.
