1. 2022-2816 – Excessive Speed
On May 13, 2022 BCHP was conducting laser speed enforcement on Highway 99. A vehicle was noted travelling 152 km/hr in a 90 km zone. The driver had their learner’s licence and did not have an L
displayed on the vehicle. There were 2 other passengers in the vehicle, in which both were not 25 years of age to be a supervisor. The vehicle was impounded, the driver was issued a ticket. All occupants of the vehicle took a taxi to their destination.
2. 2022-2800 – Theft from Auto
On May 12, 2022 Squamish RCMP received a report of a theft from vehicle on the 2000 block of Spruce Drive, Valleycliff the night before. It was stated there was over $5000 worth of items stolen from the vehicle.
3. 2022-800129 – Theft of Bikes
On May 12, 2022 Squamish RCMP received an online report of two bicycles stolen from a secure parking in the 37000 block of Cleveland Ave. The bike locks were cut. Below is a picture of one of the bikes. The other bike is described as an XL red road bike. The bike in the picture is an E-BIKE NCM Prague – Black in colour with some silver, Size 26. S/N CA101MD6J0261.
