Drug impaired driver removed from White Rock streets

On Wednesday April 20th, 2022, at 1600 hours, White Rock RCMP received 911 calls of a vehicle that was missing a front tire, swerving, travelling east bound in the 14400 block of Marine Drive, White Rock, BC. Police officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver (and lone occupant), a female from Langley, BC, in her mid 40’s was arrested for impaired driving. During the investigation it was learned that this vehicle had failed to remain at the scene of a motor vehicle collision in Langley, BC, approximately an hour earlier.

The female was transported to the White Rock RCMP detachment for further testing by a drug recognition expert (DRE) and her vehicle was impounded. Criminal code charges may be forwarded at a later date.
