1. 2022- 1961, 2022- 1966, 2022- 1968, 2022- 1969 – Excessive Speed
On March 29, 2022, Squamish BCHP, were conducting speed enforcement southbound on Highway 99. Multiple vehicles were stopped travelling between 124 km/ hr and 141 km/hr in an 80 km/ hr zone. All vehicles were impounded and the drivers were issued tickets amounting to $368 and $483 respectively.
2. 2022- 2020 – Collision
On March 31, 2022 a witness observed a late 2000’s model grey Nissan Frontier with an aluminum rack reverse at a high rate of speed into the front end of a parked vehicle. Other witnesses noticed the grey Nissan Frontier drive around Quest University prior to the incident. There is significant damage to the parked vehicle, and the suspect vehicle was observed to have damage to the tail light. If anyone witnessed this incident or recognizes the suspect vehicle, please phone Squamish RCMP.
