Assault
On March 23 at 10:40pm, a man reported that his girlfriend had been assaulted by her female friend In the VLA area. Police attended and spoke with the victim who had a swollen eye and stated her friend had punched her in the face after a dispute. BC Ambulance attended and transported the female victim to hospital. The alleged offender was arrested at the residence, and transported to Lillooet cells. She was subsequently released on conditions and a future court date to speak to the charge.

Theft
On March 24 at 8:00am a man reported that he had located a 36 year old man on Main St with two tools that were stolen from his workplace in the 100 block of Main St. Police attended and arrested the 36 year old, who is known to police. The owner recovered stolen items. The man was transported to Lillooet cells and subsequently released on conditions and a future court date. Consume in public
On March 24 at 5:00pm, Lillooet RCMP conducted a walk through Downton Park (Museum Park). Police observed open liquor on tables at the park. All parties nearby denied ownership of the alcohol and were cooperative in pouring it all out. Park users were cautioned to clean up their garbage prior to departing.

Suspicious occurrence
On March 24 at 10:00pm, a man reported the motion lights on the exterior of his residence were going on and off in the 500 block of Main St. Police were nearby and attended shortly after. Police searched around the residence and surrounding area however, no one was located and no other suspicious observations.

Consume in public
On March 25 at 2:00pm, a man reported seeing open alcohol at Downton Park (Museum Park). Police attended and located several open beer cans, and one 2L bottle of cider. Park users were cooperative in pouring it all out. Police continue to monitor the area.

Intoxicated at home
On March 27 at 12:30pm a woman reported that her uncle was intoxicated and laying down in the backyard in the 800 block of Moha Rd. Police attended and spoke with the man who stated he was fine, he had a few drinks, but was otherwise articulate. Police spoke with the female who stated she simply did not want to deal with her uncle, who also lived at the same residence. As the man was on private property, which was also his home, there was no offence for the police to enforce. The woman agreed to let her uncle back in the house after a couple hours.
