1. 2022 – 1825, 2022-1827, 2022-1828, 2022-800092, and 2022-800094 – Theft from Auto
On March 23, 2022 Squamish RCMP received numerous reports of thefts from vehicles in the 41000 block of Skyridge Pl, 1000 block of Wilson Cres, and the 1000 block of Pemberton Ave. Numerous items were stolen from personal items to insurance papers.

2. 2022 – 1943 – Excessive Speed
On March 28, 2022 BCHP (British Columbia Highway Patrol) were conducting safety enforcement on Hwy 99 using a laser. A vehicle was noted to be travelling at a rate of 133 km/hr in an 80 km zone. The driver had an expired class 7 licence. The driver was also not displaying the N on the vehicle. The driver was ticketed on several offences and the vehicle was towed. Family came to pick up the driver.

3. 2022 – 1951 - Impaired
On March 28, 2022 BCHP was conducting impaired driving enforcement in Squamish. A Member stopped the vehicle for a sobriety check. The driver had a strong smell of liquor on the breath. The Member conducted a breath test in which the results came back as a FAIL. The vehicle was impounded and a 90 day driving prohibition was given to the driver. The driver was close to their residence and walked home.
