Whistler RCMP respond to an assault in Whistler village Sunday morning

On Sunday, March 20th, 2022 at approximately 4:20 am Whistler RCMP was requested to assist BC Ambulance Service in the Marketplace parking lot on Lorimer Road for an assault where two men had been injured.  Whistler RCMP arrived on scene and located two men who had been stabbed and provided aid until they were able to transported to hospital.

Squamish RCMP were able to identify two individuals who were believed to have been involved and they were arrested and later released pending further investigation. 

Whistler RCMP led by the Sea to Sky General Investigations Section continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact the Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044.
