A weekend food bank drive organized by Oceanside Community Safety and the Oceanside RCMP raised over $3,500 and a police car full of food and other necessities for the Mount Arrowsmith Salvation Army Food Bank.

On March 12, 2022 volunteers with Oceanside Community Safety and Oceanside RCMP police officers held a food bank drive outside Save On Foods at Wembley Mall in support of the Mount Arrowsmith Salvation Army Food Bank. Oceanside residents filled an RCMP cruiser with much needed food and other necessities as well as donating over $3,500 in cash to support the local food bank.

Thank you to Save On Foods for the space and every one who donated much needed food and money for the local food bank, says Sergeant Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP. This event certainly highlighted the generosity of the Oceanside community.
