
Unique art stolen from art gallery break and enter

Three unique pieces of art were stolen during a break and enter to an art gallery in Coombs.
During the overnight hours of March 4, 2022 unknown suspects broke into the Coastal Carvings Fine Art Gallery located at 2340 Alberni Highway, Coombs.
The suspects stole three unique art pieces including a metal limited edition killer whale, a raven mask and a custom burl turning artwork. Photos of the three art pieces are pictured below.
In addition to working to identify the suspects in this break and enter, Oceanside RCMP are also working to recover the stolen property,
says Sergeant Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP.
If anyone has any information about the break and enter or knows the whereabouts of the three art pieces, please contact the Oceanside RCMP.
