File # 2022-733

The Vanderhoof RCMP wish to inform the public that the person(s) responsible for the recent distribution of leaflets in the Vanderhoof area has been identified.

The leaflet, which was pinned to the front of many businesses on the night of February 10, 2022 is a photocopy of a proclamation made by the Province of BC, which has been highlighted and amended.

The RCMP would like to remind the public that current public health orders are still in effect and that all members of the public should abide by all current guidelines.

The Vanderhoof RCMP is aware that there is much discussion and information being shared regarding recent events. We encourage the public to remain safe and up to date on all current Covid-19 mandates and information, as we all try to return to simpler times.

Should you come across these leaflets, please feel free to do with them as you wish; as we’ve identified those responsible for them and are aware of their circulation.

For current up to date information about Covid-19 and how to mitigate the dangers, please visit the BC Government's COVID-19 webpage.
