Cops on ice

New arrival to Port Hardy, Constable Wiedeman has taken to the ice for community engagement.  

Activities like this let the youth see us beyond the uniform, and helps them get to know us as people, says Constable Wiedeman. 

Constable Wiedeman hopes to continue to get to know the community she works and lives in, and is excited to be engaged in future events.

Some local schools have scheduled ice time weekly, to encourage physical fitness outside the classroom setting.
