
Port Hardy impaired apprehension efforts recognized

Alexa Team recognized two Port Hardy RCMP officers for their efforts in removing impaired drivers from the roadway.
Chief Superintendent Kirkpatrick presented Cst. Pearson and Cst. Miller with the Alexa Award for removing over 12 impaired drivers each from BC roadways in 2020.

"In 2020 Port Hardy RCMP officers removed 36 impaired drivers from the roadway for 90 day IRP's or Criminal Code investigations. That number is on track to be higher in 2021. If you are planning on drinking, don't drive", says Cst. Pearson.
