RCMP locate wanted man

On September 30, 2021, Fort St John RCMP requested the assistance of the public in locating a 52-year-old man wanted on multiple warrants for Sexual Interference, Sexual Assault, Invitation to Sexual Touching, 5 counts of Breach of Recognizance, and Fail to Appear in Court.

On November 5, 2021, Fort St John RCMP released an update that the man was believed to be evading police and was wanted on two additional warrants for Breach of Release Order. 

Police received an initial tip from the public on November 11 and a second on November 12, 2021, which led to the arrest of the man who was located in a residence in Fort St John. 

Additional tips came from the public in the following days which demonstrate the value of partnering with the public to arrest people who try to evade police and don't want to deal with their legal issues.

The man has been remanded into custody.
