1. 2021-6482 – Rock Fall on The Chief
On September 20, 2021, at about 1:30 a.m., Squamish RCMP received multiple reports of a rock slide on The Chief. Local residents heard the slide and saw a large cloud of dust in the general area between Peak 1 and Peak 2. Police, Fire Rescue, and Park Rangers did numerous joint and individual patrols of all areas people known to travel and camp, and did not note any rock debris or anyone in danger. The police file is concluded.

2. 2021-6442 – Single Car Accident
On September 17, 2021, Squamish RCMP investigated a car accident where a driver was travelling southbound on Highway 99 in rainy weather near Furry Creek and hit a barricade, causing the car to roll onto its roof. The driver did not receive any major injuries and his car was towed.

3. 2021-800088 – Hit and Run
On September 14, 2021, Squamish RCMP investigated a report of hit and run that happened in Lions Bay. A car owner parked their car on the Brunswick Beach off ramp, and upon return saw their car had been damaged. Unknown persons had left a long scrape along the passenger door and passenger rear quarter dented. The car was driveable, however, needed repair.

4. 2021-6373 – Theft from Auto
Squamish RCMP investigated a report of theft from auto that happened sometime between September 4 and 7, 2021, in the 38800 block Buckley Ave. Thieves entered a car and stole an HP Elite laptop valued at $2,600, and $150 cash.
