Police investigate multiple thefts

Fort St. James RCMP have noted an increase in theft complaints over the past few weeks in the Fort St. James, Nak’azdli and rural Necoslie Road areas.The property that have been stolen include boat motors, dirt bikes and mountain bikes.

These targeted thefts have taken place under the cover of darkness and werebrazenly stolen from the owners yards. 

Police wish to remind people to lock up or secure their property, especially if it is left outside said S/Sgt Sean Wadelius, NCO I/c Fort St James RCMP.

Police are requesting anyone with information as to potential suspects or knowledge of the stolen items to contact the Fort St. James RCMP at 250-996-8269 or Crime stoppers (1-800-222-8477).
